How I Started:
Started working out off and on in 1996. I was married at the time going through a divorce so to keep my sanity I joined 24-Hour Fitness in Houston, TX. I didn't start lifting for competition until I moved to Phoenix.
Why I Love It:
The look! The compliments I get from others when I'm working out or just going about my business. I tell everyone I don't have these muscles to help people move furniture it's for the look, really. Besides what woman doesn't like a man with a nice physique? They feel comfortable and at ease. We men spend so much time expressing how we want a woman with a coke bottle shape then why we can't give them the man with the Mr. Universe figure ourselves. Instead we settle for the spare tire look and expect women to take it or leave it. If you want the woman with the coke bottle shape just make sure she getting Mr. Universe in return.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by other people. When I hear things like I have huge arms or I have a nice body or something postive it keeps me motivated. Knowing that whatever it is I am doing I'm doing it right.
BB Accomplishments:
1st place at the Western Natural Showdown middle weight class in May-Phoenix 06' 3rd place middle weight class at the NPC Max Muscle Open in April-Phoenix 06' 3rd Place Jr. Masters class at the Brown Chiropractic NPC show 09'

Ones who don't wipe down equipment after they use it. I have a real problem with that.

I'm training now for the Nationals qualifier that takes place July 18th in Arizona.

I switched up training routines and supplements but still eating the same if not more.

I picked up about 28 lbs I'm still lean and vascular.  I incorporated a lot more strip sets (drop sets) and...

Man..like I tell people at work...I'm going to talk about and show off what I am good at...at 'that' is limited to education and maybe a few other things.Bodybuilding, even more so comps? I just don't really think I am ready. I hear people saying it but I don't know. Who knows...maybe I will just say What the hell one day...try it and then catch the wave of bodybuilding shows. But for now? I am smart enough to know that I'm not disciplined enough to do well.

Dang man I'm so proud and jealous at the same time. Man...you know me just hangin on to all of this. I really struggle at times with getting my mind wrapped around what I am doing with this. I know what I am supposed to do, at least to a certain extent,but never seemed to execute it properly.
