at your weight, get between 250-300 grams of protein daily. stick to the basic lifts: bench, squat, deadlift, overhead press, dips, pullups, rows. eat, eat, eat and rest up.
It is man! Apple and Watermelon are the best! Make sure you are getting a good amount of carbs like oatmeal or wheat bread. That will help you with the energy part of it.
Right now just maintaining during summer season. While you are in season you should really only lift a couple times a week so you aren't sore for games and wear yourself out. I usually do a full body routine a couple times a week on off days and pound Xtend and glutamine that day and the day after to make sure I'm good for the next game.
Thanks Schmitty. You're right, it ain't easy when you're tall. You're right about where I was at 17. My best advise to you is to eat big, but cleanly (try to dump any soda and candy stuff) and to train with basic compound lifts, rotating heavy w/ moderate weight weekly. Watch for joint pain at your age. If it hurts, back off. Good luck!
Kinda.. I graduated in 3 years but I still have one year left to play at a D2 or NAIA with graduate school. I have to work on a masters degree to be able to play. Hopefully I can move on to the next level soon and not have to go back to grad school but we will see. Stay in touch man college ball throws you weird situations sometimes and I have a handful of contacts. Maybe we can help each other out one day with those.
Pretty decent man just had a hurt hammy so didn't run too fast and didn't get a whole lot behind my throws. Hit pretty well though. Where are you going to college at?
