How I Started:
I use to tag along with my boyfriend to his buddy's gym when I was in my 20's but never really had to work to look good. After having a baby that all changed. So, to look good, I have to step up and make it happen.
Why I Love It:
I can't say that I love working out, because I've never really tried. But I know I love a challenge and I'm really good with setting and meeting goals, so I'm sure it will be great.
How I Stay Motivated:
Every morning I get dressed reminds me of what I look like now, what I use to look like and what I want to look like and with those ideas in my mind I can stay on track. Also, making sure I have short, medium and long term goals set and written down is extremely helpful
This is one of the very few pictures taken in the last 9.5 years. I'm just not use to seeing what I really looked like.
this is 35lbs later. My only hope is to keep watching the inches on my clothes, the scales and my % body fat. I just don't see any difference in these pictures.
What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
This is such a female way to think of this, but I find that if I like my workout clothes, I am more excited than if I know I'm just going in old t-shirt and sweats. Not that they have to be new or fashionable, just nice & comfortable. Oh sister.ya gotta do cardio after weights! The cardio lowers you natural human growth hormone levels and you cant grow muscle as well. The chick who had been in nationals didnt have to wipe everyone out of every class, thats just greedy of her. Plus she had big implants and a tummy tuck.we were all like "holy crap"
