I've always been involved in athletics since I was a kid. I wrestled, played football, baseball, basketball, soccer, skied, rock climbed, boxed...you name it, I've played it. I've torn my ACL twice and my miniscus once throughout my life which hindered alot of my athletic dreams and plans. I got lazy in my early twenties and spent a mojority of my free time partying like a rockstar, drinking like a pirate & eating pretty much anything I could get my hands on. Back in September of 2006 I got fed up with how I looked, how I felt & how I lived. I made a huge lifestyle change and rededicated my life to improving everything about myself.....mind, spirit & body. I train in boxing, still wrestle and am into some mixed martial arts. Depending on how much I progress in the sport will depend on where I take it(Next Ultimate Fighter perhaps)Hehee ;-). I'm still an expert skier, decent snowboarder and wakeboard whenever possible!
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel after a hard workout. I love pushing myself to exhaustion, then pushing beyond my limits. It's amazing what your body is capable of if you just believe in yourself & refuse to give in to the pain.
How I Stay Motivated:
Remember how I used to look & feel and know that I will NEVER let myself get that unhealthy again. I'm also a very competitive person by nature and I believe you should alway be ready for anything. The harder I train, the better prepared I am for any obstacle that gets in my way.
BB Accomplishments:
I went from 235 lbs to 174 lbs & dropped from nearly 24% body fat down to about 10% inside of 2 years.

Holy Crap I was one fat bastard. I'm suprised I didn't try and eat the camera when this pic was taken. Around the time of this picture I was at about 225-235 at my heaviest, had a 38in waist and was at about 24% body fat.
My goal is to constantly strengthen my body, my mind & my spirit. To be ready for anything I face and to overcome any obstacle. I believe that being strong in these three areas and leading a healthy lifestyle is the foundation for you to accomplish any task, face any adversity and overcome any shortcomings.

3 point bicep curl. Hold the dumbell palm face out & curl up half way for 10 reps, curl the dumbell up all the way and curl the top half range of motion for 10 reps & finally extend all the way down & finish the set off with 10 reps at the full range of motion. Be sure to keep your motion slow and controled.
As you go up in weight you'll need to significantly drop your reps.

Awww, that was a really sweet comment you left for me. Thank you! I'm not sure you're right, but I like hearing it anyway! You look pretty amazing yourself.
