I'm keeping my reps moderate, between 12-15. Nothing too extreme. I'm coming back from a bad left shoulder.

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
I keep the rests between 1-1.5 minutes. I'm trying to burn more fat, after all.

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
I'm currently on a very "health oriented" diet. No refined sugar. Green phyto foods for extra nutrition along with a billion other vitamins/supplements. I try to keep the carbs out at night. 5-6 healthy protein-based meals a day. A gallon of water a day. Nothing too radical. We both know injuries cannot be rushed! Don't you have 2 years til you have to compete at nationals anyway? Last thing you need is to rush and not place where you want. But if you're feeling it....kick some a$$
things are pretty good. I had a good workout this morning but my left knee sure isnt liking it though. its probably from when I had the 50lbs barbell it was on the gym floor instead of where it was suppose to be. cant stand it when people do that. anyways I was bending at the knees to pick it up when I would do my exercise and then back down so I think maybe thats what bothered it or it could be this HUGE COLD SNAP we are having here
I'm doing the same thing diet wise. Doing keto now. I would love to do a show up in NJ this september, but I'm not going drastically crazy on this one. I figure the shows aren't going anywhere, but I do want to make my first one in NJ. So we'll see.
I might just have to go check them out. I got rid of my myspace so I hope I can still see them, too much drama. Just keeping this and facebook.
Yup, the progress pics you see on my page were for that show. About 4 weeks out I knew I wasn't going to be able to come in show ready. I wanted to compete and win, not just be a feel good story. However, out of respect for my training partner, I still finished everything dealing with contest prep right up until the last day.
I'm just frustrated that I let it happen. By the way, you're cartoon with the gay bodybuilder almost made me spit my water all over my monitor =) Best of luck in your future shows. I remember seeing you in the Gold's Classic in Wilmington. That was the show I originally was going to do. My training partner was the guy who won it all. Thanks for the add!
Thanks for the compliment. That pic is just the display pic...I was really small there haha. I'm still leaning out right now, but then will lean bulk in about 4 weeks. Never been to Leland...I assume it's near the beach.
