How I Started:
I tried my first fitness classes when I was 14 and got hooked.I was always stick skinny in my teens and was so envious of the muscular, curvy women at the gym and in magazines. I eventually went on to be an instructor and in 2001 I competed in my first fitness compitition with disappointing results. I set a goal to compete in bodybuilding in 2005 when a cycling accident caused me to put my training on the backburner. I've always been in love with lifting weights and getting stronger. I like lifting heavy and bench press/deadlifts/squats are still my favorite exercises.

I keep motivated by reading Oxygen Magazine. There's nothing like looking at a great pic of Monica Brant or Valerie Wagauman to motivate you to change your body.

Goal (Long):
I'm competing in the Nova Scotia provincial show in 6 months and would LOVE to place in the top 3.
In order to do that I'll have to Lift like crazy for the next 4 months and then nail my diet so I can come in muscular and lean.
As December comes to an end, so ends room for inconsistancy in training and overindulging. I am now 14 weeks from a figure competition that is very important to me, my home-town provincial. This is a show I competed in 6 years ago and did very poorly. After years of...
