I began working out while I was playing hockey, Since then I have fallen in love with fitness and nutrition. Unfortunately, like most guys I wanted to get as big as possible as fast as possible. So I left for college and began eating everything in sight. I was uneducated about nutrition and the importance of eating the right types of calories. I successfully got bigger and put on weight but I also put on a large amount of fat. I reached my max weight at 212 and I remember looking in the mirror and realizing that I looked fat. I decided to clean up my diet a little bit and before I knew it I was down to 195 lbs. I was proud of my progress but still longed for that six pack so I decided to start making a drastic change. One year later I am 168 lbs and 7% bodyfat.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because it requires a tremendous amount of discipline and I love seeing changes in my body. It also makes me feel better.
