How I Started:
After school I did no exercise - except for partying - and I picked up a lot of weight.
I set myself a goal to swim a 1600m open water race in 2002, and loved the physique changes that came with hard training.
Why I Love It:
Its in the challenge of setting & attaining goals. It builds confidence and pride.

Lol, I have SO been punishing myself and am DESPERATE for my diet to start. Worst is that I go away in 2 weeks. Beach, Bikini, Blubber, hmmm not good combo of words there. Haha, well it's not SO bad - I've got boobs (yay!)and an ass (okay yay) and still have a waist of sorts. So you are bulking thru summer - lol look at us bulking when everyone else has been getting lean since jan! 8) My comp's not until late Oct - I can't remember if you said you were gonna compete too?

I've been hiding out too lol! :) I'm still bulking until mid june and I feel like a heffer but I've gained just over 6lbs of muscle and I've finally got some lats so I'm not complaining (not until I try to lose the accompanying fat anyway haha). How're you doing? How's progress - I see you're bulking?
Its mainly been work more than anything...my teaching schedule on base coupled with my part time job at the hospital...and Im training two guys seperately on rotating days at 5am...Ughhh...i have a hard time saying NO to people looking for help!!!
Yes there is another Flex comp! I am not really the traditional bikini girl though, in fact I am not sure what I am but it doesnt matter because I have plenty of fans anyway! Today I went to a hard core boxing club here - the people are very poor and humble - world champions train along side beginners - everyone was so caring and kind, I was deeply impressed - and inspired to train even harder!

Hey! wow your abs are looking graet - and your arms, you must be happy! I finally finished my shoots, exhausted but happy. wow man, 15 Kg is a lot sound a great challenge!, I wish I could pack that much, I am a hard gainer and the heaviest has been 175#, if I can reach the 180-185 with 7%bf I will contest next year! I can tell you look great!
