My Supplement Philosophy View My Full Supplement Philosophy

These are the supplements that I am currently using as I aim to reduce my body fat from circa 20% to 9%

Stage One - 20% to 14%

As of January 19th, 2013 I am using these supplements:-

Animal Cuts - (training and non training day) 1 pack twice a day (this is the first time that I've used these; I've used Animal Stak before and been impressed with the results, hopefully these will also deliver good results)

Pre-work out:

5g BCAA powder (Bulkpowders.co.uk)

5g L-Glutamine powder (Reflex)

Creatine - 2 tabs (Matrix)

Yohimbe - 1 tab (Twin Labs)

 

Post work out

5g BCAA powder (Bulkpowders.co.uk)

5g L-Glutamine powder (Reflex)

Creatine - 2 tabs (Matrix)

Yohimbe - 1 tab (Twin Labs)

Matrix Anabolic Whey Protein - 40g Protein, low carb/ low fat.

 

Rest of the day


Throughout the day I have 4 protein shakes, using Matrix Anabolic mixed with water. I'm keeping my protein intake high. I add 5g of L-Glutamine to the protein shake that I have before going to bed.

SQ76 Managed a new PB this morning with 37.5kg dumb bell chest press x 6 reps. Happy with that!

SQ76 90 mins of low intensity cycling done... feels good! was quite entertaining being at the back of the gym & watching some of the bad form

  • Yeah, this one guy was doing a concentrated bicep curl, but the whole movement was through his shoulder... he was using something like an 8 or 10kg dumb bell when half that weight and better form would have actually worked the bicep.

  • I think a lot of people don't realise how each muscle or group of muscles work or even how the exercise can hit the spot when done right. And I am a believer of going back to basics, dropping the weight to work on form and really feel the muscle in action. The guy you described has never been shown correct form or tried to learn the correct technique, assumes he knows because he's seen it done somewhere. hehe why am I telling you this? !! ;)
