I was a skinny kid, (still a lightweight by bodybuilding standards) and began to study martial arts at 15. Started putting on a little muscle from the weapons training in particular and loved how it felt and looked having muscle, so started hitting the weights. Haven't stopped since.
Why I Love It:
To compliment my martial arts with speed and power, functional muscle, as Bruce Lee called it. Gym time is zen time for me. As an artist, it's like your body is a sculpture, always in progress. I could go on and on.
How I Stay Motivated:
Using bodyspace has become a strong motivational tool. A place of knowledge gathering with giving people. If I make another movie, I want to surpass the shape I was in for the last!
BB Accomplishments:
Martial arts accomplishments. 28 years of faithful training, 4 blackbelts in different systems, Jujitsu tournament Champion, Now a student of JKD. The learning never ends.
Nice Indie film .... good fight scenes .... wouldn't want to find myself in a situation with you between me and the only exit, glaring at me and cracking your knuckles! :-) LOL
Thanks for letting me add. I always wondered what his quote meant about being shapeless/formless like water, especially how it can crash. maybe it just depends, later man!
WOW I looked at your pages and I really love those pictures. Mainly the one with bodybuilder lying on the stone - Hard Body. Great works. Congrats to Martial arts DVD
