Fit Status:
I Am currently dieting and training to Compete in The OCB Stars & Stripes Novice BodyBuilding Show on November 14, 2009 and The MsUSBF Balti
Motivation Level: 10/10
Personal Info And Background:
Real Name:
Michael Brown http://www.facebook.com/people/Michael-Brown/76939008
Originally I started Boxing during the summer after my freshman year in high school. I went to a place called Tyrant Boxing Gym and trained under Mike Long, an ex-pro Boxer. Boxing consumed most of my life. I went everyday and spent more than 20 hours a week training. Boxing made me very cut but it also made me lose weight and I kept my weight low for fights. At that time I did not use any supplements and I wanted to increase my muscle mass and size while retaining my cuts. I continued Boxing for 2 years until that gym closed down. While I was in search of a new place, my friends dad, who is a Professional BodyBuilder, took me to Vision Fitness. The first time I went I signed up. It was everything I wanted in a Gym and more. Every since, I have been going everyday. I want to be at the level to win teen BodyBuilding shows.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because there is no greater satisfaction in this world worth as much as investing so much of your time, energy, and complete dedication towards a goal and then watching yourself achieving it. Bodybuilding is not like other sports, in the end your only real competition is yourself, and you will only be as good as you drive yourself to be, regardless of what anyone else says.
All that matters is your own personal recognition for all the relentless effort and countless hours you have dedicated into making yourself better.
To me that is what BodyBuilding is, it's making yourself better.
How I Stay Motivated:
I absolutely refuse to be average! It does not matter what facet of life we are taking about I simply refuse to submit to being average, okay, or the standard. Your mind and body are the two greatest things that will ALWAYS be yours and I am driven to spend the rest of my life making both better. In the end, when you strip man of everything materialistic: money, cars, clothes, all that is left is who we really are, our minds and our bodies. Karl Shapiro once said, "The Body, what is it, Father, but a sign. To Love the Force that Grows Us, to give back. What in Thy Palm is senselessness and mud?"
If I can put in my time everyday to make my mind smarter and my body stronger than that is all the motivation I will ever need. In Life, I am satisfied, but I will never be content!
