To get down into the mid-200's by this time next year.
Goal (Long):
Going through my first online bootcamp proved to me that I can do this. I went from 377 unhealthy pounds to a more manageable 307 in less than a year's time, and I wasn't really putting all my effort into it. I can only imagine what will happen, now that I'm about to dive back in and "leave it all on the stage." Because I'm so close now to having all the things I want: to get rid of my CPAP machine since I have greatly reduced the effects of my sleep apnea problem. To decrease and finally get rid of the number of blood pressure meds I've had to take for years. To have more energy and mental clarity to get through each and every day.
Oh, yeah - and to look 'slammin'' with my shirt off for the first time in my life!
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
Working with the elliptical machine, but the same could be said for the recumbent and stationary bikes, too. Anything where I can use my iPod is all-good for me. Cardio with no music is cardio I'm not going to do (except for lap swimming, of course!Working with the elliptical machine, but the same could be said for the recumbent and stationary bikes, too. What traps workout has worked best for you?
I haven't incorporated any exercises into my routine that isolate the traps yet. I rely on compound back exercises to hit those for now.

What forearm workout has worked best for you?
Don't really have a forearm workout yet...I'm concentrating on "bringing sexy back" to my bi's and tri's.
Why I like this video: I don't really remember when it was I came across Steve Turano's clips, but whenever I want to do a little research on something related to workouts, he seems to follow the K.I.S.S. rule pretty consistently, and a lot of what he has to say reflects "uncommonly" common sense.

Well, anyone who knows me also knows that I am a MISERABLE blogger. A lot of people can't get by without blogging about twice a day; if I do it once a week that's a miracle! I've still been keeping up with the pool training and with my Wednesday ass-kicking sessions with Scott (the trainer in...

no sweat! the Pure Protein bars are awesome tasting too, IMO. stick with the chewy chocolate chip and the chocolate peanut butter, those have the least ingredients, cals, etc etc. glad i could enlighten you my friend. continue the crush!
hey Samuel, just droppin by and it looks like your still makin money! i noticed your bars - next time you run out or if you hit a plateau - give Worldwide Pure Protein bars a shot. 6 pk at walmart is about $6, but they dont have sugar, high fructose corn syrup, any of that good stuff so they may speed up yur weightloss. chewy chocolate chip and chocoalate peanut butter specifically. have a great week!!
