To be ready to compete or take fitness magazine-ready pictures by 2012, and document everything in my new web series, GREETINGS FROM THE WAIST-LAND.
Goal (Long):
I made quite a bit of progress back in 2007, but have lost it all since then, gaining a lot of weight back. Now that I have become a YouTube junkie, I plan to feed my new addiction by using it as a weight-loss tool and documenting every step of getting down from my current 369 to my goal weight of 220 lbs. once and for all, in a new series called GREETINGS FROM THE WAIST-LAND! At the climax of what's planned to be an eighteen-month journey, my long-term goal is to have not only reached the weight I'm shooting for, but to have completely transformed my life as well to get many of the things I have forced myself to do without.
Look at his before and after pics, and then let it sink in...he's 55. I know people half that age who aren't anywhere near in his kind of shape. THAT is what I want for myself, and Ed is just one more reason I have to believe that the goal is NOT impossible.
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
Working with the elliptical machine, but the same could be said for the recumbent and stationary bikes, too. Anything where I can use my iPod is all-good for me. Cardio with no music is cardio I'm not going to do (except for lap swimming, of course!Working with the elliptical machine, but the same could be said for the recumbent and stationary bikes, too. What traps workout has worked best for you?
I haven't incorporated any exercises into my routine that isolate the traps yet. I rely on compound back exercises to hit those for now.

What forearm workout has worked best for you?
Don't really have a forearm workout yet...I'm concentrating on "bringing sexy back" to my bi's and tri's.

197. Never Used Muscle

Why I like this video: I don't really remember when it was I came across Steve Turano's clips, but whenever I want to do a little research on something related to workouts, he seems to follow the K.I.S.S. rule pretty consistently, and a lot of what he has to say reflects "uncommonly" common sense.

Not that channeling The Isley Brothers is going to help any, but it's a pretty fitting title for what my situation is now. Since I last "blogged in", I discovered that I have two bulging discs in my lower spine, I've developed the beginning stages of glaucoma in my left eye, I'm...
I dropped by to say keep believing and don't let anything slow you down or get in your way as you work to reach your fitness goals. If you ever feel like it don't hesitate to give me a yell to talk, with questions or anything else for that matter as I would really like for you to succeed and will do whatever I can to be of assistance and be a resource for you.
It is really true, if you believe you will achieve.

Had a great ego day yesturday. When to SIX FLAG did not where a shirt in the water park. In the past I would where one to cover up but not this time. I had a little tan NO man BOOBS no gut and some muscle to show. That was a great ego boost. I also tooking in 2 protein bars so I would not have to eat fried food all day, yes i know alittle weird but all this hard work and to eat fried food and feel like **** the next day. I don't think so
Still no chest workout but to day I did 3 set of tri extentions and 3 set of peacher curls NO PAIN in my chest. I will add to this workout slowly. Also change up my leg workout order placing squats last. Holy Crap my weight has drop by half but what a burn and pump . Must change thing up more.

no sweat! the Pure Protein bars are awesome tasting too, IMO. stick with the chewy chocolate chip and the chocolate peanut butter, those have the least ingredients, cals, etc etc. glad i could enlighten you my friend. continue the crush!
