it was 6 weeks of hardcore dieting...I couldnt find an affordable diet coach until 6 weeks out. So it was my proverbial balls to the wall. My body is insulin sensitive so No fruits, no dairy, carb cycling and depletion...My only carbs were yams and fibrous (broccoli/ spinach)...1.5g of protein (boiled chicken/ fish) per lb of mass...As for water I started on distilled water and diuretics at 4 days out and dropped from there...One Short espresso per day.

Thanks for the love! You have a great foundation to build upon for fitness modelling. Stay strong and dedicated....and better yet pick a tentative date. I made my greatest progress within the time I chose to compete and the actual date! Good luck in your endeavours! :)

Thanks! Haha! I cant wait to do it again. I only started my diet prep 6 weeks out...so I going all out. I cant wait to see what I can do with time on my side and the experiences I've had from the last show to learn from.
Good luck in your training. When is your contest date btw?

Your transformation is awesome! Very motivating! I love the muscle mass you've gained since 1998...and the fact that you've stayed lean while doing it to...very impressive!!! Keep up the great work

Im doing very well thank you. Training is going pretty well...although I need to pay closer attention to my body comp to make sure I'm actually gaining those 5lbs of MUSCLE and not water/ fat. Legs day!! :)

Awww...inspiration comes in many forms. I'm glad if my story helps inspire anyone. As for my suit - it was custom made by the new IFBB Pro Sylvia Tremblay after I checked out her page on tremblaydesigns.com - she is absolutely fantastic!!!

Its a constant work in progress. I'm never satisfied...but who really is? You're quite the strongman arent you... Your profile pic is a direct reflection of your intensity and will power. I can only deadlift 2 plates per side for 5 reps....I'm working on that. Keep up the great work. You're awesome! :)

Im still not satisfied with my back...but thanks for the props again haha! Um, my training hasnt been what it usually is...just because I've been so busy over the past 2 weeks, what with my mom and bro making surprise visits from outta town. Had lots of running around to do..and moms cooking isnt exactly diet food lol. How have you been?
