When I Started:
Sep, 2005
How I Started:
2 years ago I was fed up with my skinny frame yet fatty body/torso. So I decided to start working out in my home. Slowly I began to put on muscle with the 2 dumbbells I had. I came across bodybuilding.com and began to educate myself. Now after 2 years and seeing little gains (even though im in better shape than when before I started) I have now completely changed my diet, lifestyle, and exercises to increase my gains.
Why I Love It:
It keeps my mind off of the little things and stresses in my life. It also puts me in a good mood after I finish working out. And it leaves me with more energy throughout the day.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just look in the mirror with my shirt off. I daydream and think of the one day when I will have the body that I want. When I can finally walk around or go to the beach with my shirt off comfortable... that's my motivation.
BB Accomplishments:
It isn't much but when I finally gave myself some biceps. Before I had nothing and I was just a skinny kid. Now I'm a skinny kid with at least some meat and muscle.
I want to cut-up and get leaner by the mid-summer and signicantly lower my BF%.
Goal (Long):
I want to lean up a lot and finally show the muscle I've packed on. Bring my bodyfat % to around 7-8% by the mid-summer. I also want to retain as much muscle as possible and if not, put on more muscle while I cut.
Description: I recorded myself doing 1 set of 12 reps of dumbbell hammers. I ended up doing 3 sets of 12.

Why I like this video: This is great motivation for me as I am in pretty much the same boat as this guy. Being an ecto and skinny is not fun, it's hard to gain muscle mass. Keep training!

Why I like this video: Floyd Mayweather is my favourite boxer and his intensity that he fights and trains at is really inspiring for me.
* Note * The dates these logs are posted do not match the actual week number, I’m actually on week 7 of my bulking phase but I’m a little behind in posting them.
hey, thanks fr the comment :)
anyways i'm going to keep my lifting routine the same, lower the cals to around 2200-2300, light cardio 6 days per week for 30mins+ and take EC stack
yeah that was acne try natures cure...its a pill you can get over the counter for like ten bucks for a month supply...its the only thing that ever worked for me.
Hey, absolutely you can!! If you stick to those three things I listed in my story, eat like an animal(high carbs and protein), stick with 3-4 set of 8-12 reps(or whatever works for u), make sure to be consistant, and you should make gains.
I recommend for supplements a protein powder if your diet lacks enough protein (atleast 1g/lb body weight)and Twin Labs Creatine STack did a lot for me. Hope this helps man, good luck on your transformation
I will. I'm coming down the last 2 weeks of my workout and diet than I'm going to do a serious clean bulk... probably around 2500 calories a day... I'm still in the lab right now working out my bulk workout and diet. Thanks for the comment though.
