SBLMsurfer

Overall Goal:  I would like to gain lean muscle, hit a weight of 155, and build up my pecs.

When I Started:
Sep, 2006
How I Started:
I had lifted in high school and enjoyed it a lot. I originally started because my Mom began the Body-For-Life challenge, and it made me want to get in shape as well. I stopped due to lady issues (i.e. girlfriend) and regret it to this day. I started working out again in September of 06, and have made some great gains for myself.
Why I Love It:
It's a pain sometimes... I hate working out my scrawny legs. But anything upper body gets me pumped up. I just love the feeling of your muscles wanting to rip out of your skin after a great workout. And the next day when you're sore, you know you did a good job.
How I Stay Motivated:
Reading Bodybuilding.com, watching movies and noticing the physiques of the celebrities and bodybuilders that I find inspirational. My favorite motivator is bodybuilding.com and Frank Zane, who has the exact physique I'd like to attain.
BB Accomplishments:
I have currently got 3 friends to start up bodybuilding.

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
Normally, about 10 to 12 because it helps you cut up.
When I'm "going big" I'll shoot for 6 to 8 because thats what gives you size!

A lot of school and work these days.  Very stressful, which is all the more reason to release some energy at the gym during workouts.  But I'm finding it extremely hard to find the time to go to the gym.  Was going about 3-4 days a week for the last 3 months, but now its becoming more like...

Workout Program:
Have a different routine now. I do chest, triceps, and shoulders on Monday, so it's all my pushing muscles in a workout. Tuesday is day off, Wednesday is all lower body, calves, hamstrings, quads, and abs. Thursday is off, and Friday is biceps and back, for my pulling muscles. Separating...

That's good to hear man, and it's always good to have someone there to motivate you. My training and progress has been simply astonishing! Ever since I've been more strict on my diet, added Lipo-6, and doubling up on the intense cardio (about 70-80% MHR) the weight has been pouring off. I plan on posting progress pictures soon. Anyways man, hope you continue to make progress, later!

mines the opposite, right know im trying to work on my pullups, (Palms facing away) its hard but got to keep pushing myself. i been staying between the 205ibs and 208ibs area, i would like to lean out and not drop below 200ibs, it took me a while to get there. my main trouble area is my stomach and my chest is lagging a bit, if u got some advice it would help, alright later bro
