Bay Port High Attended 2002 to 2005 Green Bay, Wisconsin United States
When I Started:
Jul, 2005
How I Started:
I was introduced into the workout scene at a fairly young age. My dad being very successful in size and exercises such as bench spiked my curiosity. At the time i usually just tagged along and watched not really working out or anything, just amazed as he would keep stacking on the plates...little did i know it would become a staple in changing who I was down the road.
It didn't come tell about my senior year in high school when taking gym class when our coach first brought the idea of workout programs onto the table. (i was not involved in school sports so this was a first for me) The idea of having a program and changing the sets, exercises, and rep patterns just grabbed my interest and the addiction began. I was always very athletic but always the smaller kid graduating high school at merely 150 pounds or thereabout.
My gains during senior year were decent but nothing compared to what was to come after graduation. I received a home gym as a graduation gift from my family and spent numerous hours a week thereafter grinding out workouts and even bringing friends and my dad occasionally in to endure them with me.
After moving out I had joined several gyms around the area and loved learning from all the guys bigger and more knowledgeable then me on the subject. It really is important and extremely helpful to just ask around the gym for pointers if you need to and listen (not necessarily follow) but at least listen to what people have to say, especially ones who have been doing it awhile.
Since high school about 4 years ago, i have tacked on 40 lbs and still just as lean as i was then. in the near future id like to gain 10-15 more lbs while keeping my defined look. i owe my success not only to my numerous spotters who have helped me along the way, my dad, my coach and not to leave out the genetics and the great meals i was always provided growing up by my parents .
Why I Love It:
Such a great feeling to set goals and to reach them, break them and set new ones. Always trying to better yourself, strengthening your mind and your body. Love seeing what your body can adapt to be able to do, the changes that occur and how you can make your body however you want it to be by how you train and what you put into it. (time spent and food taken in) eat healthy and grow quality cause i really take you are what you eat seriously.
How I Stay Motivated:
By seeing results. Trying to beat my last workout everytime i enter the gym as well as dragging others through workouts with me. always trying to fuel the same fire and addiction to training as i have in them and seeing not only my results but others reaching there goals and seeing results for themselves.

whey and casein. whey for fast absorbing right after workouts and upon waking up in the morning for instant action. casein for between meals and before bed for longer lasting effect.

Do you track your workouts (exercises, weight, reps, etc.)?
Yes
If so, how do you do it? Workout log, software program, etc.? Why do you do it this way?
