Background

When I Started: Jan 2010
HOW I STARTED:

All throughout high school, I had undiagnosed lyme's disease, so I never did any sports because my knee's would be bothered. Summer of my senior I was diagnosed with lyme's disease after getting fairly sick. I began losing my appetite and droppoed 25lbs. I was a skinny guy before, so you can imagine. Since then I've made it a lifetime goal to stay fit and healthy. I started lifting weights a little since recovering, but up until now I wasn't looking for any big gains. I've taking it slow, but now I'm ready for the challenge!

WHY I LOVE IT:

It's a challenge and nothing's more rewarding than seeing results.

These past 12 weeks have been absolutely incredible! Fitness and Health have become such a huge part of my life since I've started this contest and now I plan on becoming  personal trainer. This entire contest, for me, has been about improving my diet and my physical activity to live a healthier life.

End of Week 2

Hey everyone, Ryan here. So I just finished up my 2nd week of the 2011 Transformation challenge and it's all going very well. I'm working as hard as I can, fitting in working out between my ugly school schedule. I'm sticking to a nice clean diet and consuming plenty of protein. I try my best to stick to a 40-40-20 diet. 40% protein, 40% carbs, 20% healthy fat. However, it's isn't the easiest thing. lol


My workouts consist right now of 3 days on 1 day off. The first day is Chest, Shoulders and Triceps. The 2nd day is Quads, Hamstrings and Calves. The third is Biceps, Abs and Bac

12 Week Transformation Challenge is a Go!

Last night and today, I signed up and uploaded my pics for the 12 Week Transformation challenge! I'm extremely excited and very motivated about this 12 weeks ahead. HappySnowBunny Big thank you for being there for me yesterday. You're absolutely right about this place being great on support. I had no idea how much there is! (i didn't want to bring up the thread so doing personal replies) As far as the questions you asked: My typical diet I'm putting on my blog as soon as I get a moment. I don't drink sodas of any kind and get about a gallon of water a day. Not sure about enough fiber or protein. working on that formula today too. Feb 4, 2011 3:47pm
