Overall Goal:  I've always been overweight. My desire is to get down to a healthy weight of around 195 lbs, get some nice tone and definition, and get down to around 12% body fat.

Fit Status:  Done with 49 days of Power 90. Over halfway done and feeling great. Broke through my "glass ceiling" of 280 lbs finally! Over 30 lbs lost

When I Started:
Jun, 2009
How I Started:
I've just started out with the Power 90 program by Beachbody. Once these 90 days are done I am planning to move on to P90X.
Why I Love It:
My weight/health has always been an issue in my life and for a long time I just resigned myself to the fact I would be fat the rest of my life. I changed my attitude and now my greatest challenge/goal in life is to get fit and healthy!
How I Stay Motivated:
I've set a number of short term and longer term goals for myself. I've joined a number of websites for accountability and posted my somewhat embarrassing body shots on a few websites. If changing the way I look to show others what can be done isn't motivation enough I don't know what is!

This was when I started the Atkins Diet on February 24. I weighed 308.8 lbs. I'm not honestly sure of my measurements because I was too ashamed to take them.

Why is this type of protein best?
Based on everything I've learned thus far whey isolates are the best and most pure form of protein for the body. I honestly don't know much about it, but I do know that being a man I will NEVER use so...more
