Well, for the past few weeks i have been checking out my flaws. how i need to equal out some here and some there. And, what my weak spots are. So far, my latest goals are to be on my shoulders, back, arms and calfs. I need size in my Traps and delts. not to mention my lats. But, no matter...
Monday- Bench Presses, Dead-Lifts, Military Presses,/ After School- 2 Mile Sprint, 400lb Tire Flips, 10 stadiums with a 100lb tire strapped to my back, sledge hammer tire hits, Live wrestling for 2 hours.
Tuesday- Squats, Power Cleans, Lat Pulldowns, curls,/ After School- same everyday...
Thanks for the kind words, man. You don't owe me anything. If you're motivated to do something and you don't let anything stand in your way, then you will ultimately reach your goal. Sounds like you didn't allow things to interfere with your progress. I can't take credit for that. You seem to be doing a great job - keep it up!
Hey Ryan. Good to hear from you. My strength has really shot through the roof lately. Nutrition timing and a solid training routine will get you wherever you want to be. Are you still playing football?
Congrats on 235! That's great for your age. I couldn't do that when I was 16. Yes, I've been making some decent gains lately. I've been focusing on nutrition timing (what to eat and when to eat it) and it's really helped my progress. I'm benching over 400 now, which was just a seemingly empty dream just 3 years ago. All my major lifts are over 400 now. Work hard and let NOTHING get in the way of your goals.
Hey, Ryan! Hope all is well with you. I have bodyfat calipers that I use to test bf%. They are available to purchase in a lot of places, but you need to know how to use them correctly or they're a waste of $$. You really don't need them at this point in your training, though.
Hey, Ryan! Hope your holidays were awesome. Way to go in the weight room! Just remember that diet plays the most important part in your goals - eat BIG to get BIG!!!
Hey Ryan! Life is good for me in Lakeland. I'm glad you're doing well. Take what you learn in the weight room and apply it to the rest of your life. A whole new world will open up for you.
You guys played a great game. I tried saying hi to all the guys I knew from the past couple years, but I couldn't find you. We play Lake Gibson next week. Tell all the guys I wish them the best of luck the rest of the season.
No, the rumors are not true. I'm loving life here at LHS. It'll be tough but I have so much more freedom as a teacher to teach what I'm supposed to. We'll see how it goes soon enough! Good luck as an assistant. I'll be seeing you in a couple weeks on the field.
Cool. I'll be coaching specifically the defensive backs. So it'll be you vs my guys on the field. ;) What positions are you looking to play on offense and defense?
Great job with your training. Wanted to let you know... I'll be an assistant JV football coach at Lakeland High School this year. The football weight room there is awesome. I'll be teaching Biology Honors there, too. See you on the field when we play on September 6th!
