How I Started:
In my late 20's I needed to get in better shape to try out as a fireman. I started a love affair with bodybulding that continues 30 plus years later.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because of the way it makes me look & feel. I like the disipline involved and the fact that I am in control of my body and that I can change my body with the right effort
How I Stay Motivated:
I have found that as I have gotten older I am even more motivated to work out because it is the best anti- aging antidote out there

2006 NPC OC MUSCLE CLASSIC OVER 60 1ST PLACE. 2006 NPC CALIFORNIA STATE CHAMP. OVER 60 1ST PLACE. 2007 OC MUSCLE CLASSIC OVER 60 2ND PLACE. 2008 NPC MUSCLE CLASSIC OVER 60 2ND PLACE

Well I ended up thiird at the NPC Cal show which was really disappointing after I checked out the contest photos today at Musclecontest.com. I thought it should have been 2nd at least. But I was really pleased with my condition which was the best ever. The week before the show I carb depleated...
I looked for your blog about NPC. A work in progress? Let me know when it's up. In the meantime, tell us what your next couple of weeks are going to be like in prep for the contest. Your last blog was before your accident.
You look great. Welcome to the "over 60" group. You'll have a lot to contribute. I, for one, will be pumpin' you for lots of info about competing. I've got my eye on a show in April.
