What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Improper form AND not listening to your body trying to lift with the big boys and girls.

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Have to be careful benching with my left shoulder and with legs with my knees. I go lighter than I really can with higher reps and if I start having sharp pain for more than two workouts I take a week off from weights.Have to be careful benching with my left shoulder and with legs with my knees. What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
Start slowly and light.........stretch constantly. Make working out another part of the day just like brushing your teeth
Im glad we are back in the gym together. I know the surgeries will hold me back a little but ill be back at it in no time. Thank you for saying I inspire you. But you are the one who inspires.
I know we are ... and I love the workouts that you take the time to put me through. I know one day soon they will start paying off with results other than making me walk funny and not move my arms :)
Listen here Mister ... Its only 620pm and Im already so sore from today that I can't get out of the recliner! If your gonna kill me off please stop with this slow agonizing stuff :) You know Im kidding you. But damn you sure do work me hard!!! I thought we were buds!

Im feeling it today that is for sure LOL still feel like I'm such a weakling though ... i guess its just all those big guys in there with their bulk of weights and then there is me the jolly red giant and im lifting NOTHING and its all I can do to lift that. But thank you for all your dedication to keeping me motivated.
