I got my first set of weights when I was 18. I started to train seriously in my 20's and stopped when I moved to a different area for my job. A set of bad health and weight scares in my 40's got me started again.
Why I Love It:
I love lifting weights...It's the only thing I'm any good at!
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep a record of my gym visits and set myself targets.The thought of going back to the way I was fills me with dread.

None yet but I may compete one day!

Goal (Long):
Reduce body fat to about 18-20%. Look and feel younger and keep fit and avoid joint problems for the future. People refusing to believe I am as old as I say........
After loosing all the bodyweight and shrinking I'm starting to make some respectable muscle gain. Since the beginning of the summer I changed my programme to a 5 day split and put in a lot of work. I have also upped my protein and added creatine pre and post...
5 day split body part programme.
shoulders & abs / bicep & Triceps / chest / back & abs / legs.
Reps, amount of weight, and exercises are every 4-6 weeks to give variety.
Also during the week are 2x 1hr aerobics classes and a legs & butt training class.

How my UK Princess this AM... I'm working hard to add size, but keep the waist the same size...So far so good...
Back up to almost 190lbs & still have the 32 " waist. Wish me luck... As usual you're just about as HOT as they get....

I've worked to hard this year to stop now . I road Moto Cross with my son in law Yesterday for the first time in Years . And did not Hurt myself :) It felt good to race again ,
