What supplements do you take immediately before your workout? Why?

Perhaps a minute or so, I don't measure -- I wait until my heart rate is down and my muscles feel relaxed again. As per the "how many reps" question, I'm not looking to build size, I am interested in...more

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
5, because I am more interested in strength than size. And Rippetoe says 5 reps is a good usable compromise between 1RM strength and endurance.
