I was a fat kid and my cousin's boyfriend was a fitness buff; he got me started on a at-home training program
Why I Love It:
It's the only thing I have control over. Nothing beats the concentration and accomplishment. The constant attention to form and finding new ways to motivate myself helps me in all facets of my life including my music.
How I Stay Motivated:
Research, trying new workouts every month, Classic Rock on my itouch. Not really into celebrity bods, except for Brad Pitt in Troy; mostly looking at other profiles and training routines of guys that are bigger than me. Shooting for 190 after my current cut.
BB Accomplishments:
In 1999 I came down with a case of meningitis. I was having seizures and had to have a shunt put in my spine to drain the cerebral fluid. The doctors said I should get my affairs in order...fooled their asses! When I left the hospital I weighed 117 lbs. Shortly before that, I had reached 190 with about 10%bf (major abs). It took me down for 5 years, but as soon as I could I started working out (I had to use a walker for about a year).

Blast, blast, blast 'em!!! I tried high reps for years because I heard they are slow twitch, but nothing worked.
