How I Started:
I was tired of being over weight, ive always wanted to loose weight as ive been big since my early teens and so in July 08 i went into a supplement store got some information from Spencer (the person working there) and found this website and started my journey on bodybuilding.
Why I Love It:
The Results you are able to achieve yourself, pushing yourself to the limits and knowing you done good. Moving more weight than i ever thought possible.
How I Stay Motivated:
looking at old pictures and enjoying what i do. if you see it as a chore, you shouldn't do it. you should love going to the gym and moving some weights! and everyone doesn't like cardio but learn to love it!
BB Accomplishments:
I have lost around 3 stone (42lbs) i have lost more fat but at the moment i'm turning that into muscle!
Robinson.scottis inspired by str8flexed. Reason: "Just where he has got being totally natural is absolutely incredible.I can only dream to be like this one day. "
This is when i first started out pursuing bodybuilding as a hobby, i was 266 lbs. and over weight, unhappy and just not a happy chappy. So i decided to make a change and through my journey i have learnt many things about natural bodybuilding and i love it!
I want to start loosing body fat and get down to 15% body fat if i can if not lower.
Goal (Long):
within the next two weeks i am going to start going on a carb cycle to reduce my body fat, i want to surprise my partner when she comes home, i plan to run every morning at least 4 times a week for 45 minutes a go, then also go to the gym 4 times a week as usual. i want to have a nice slender body and maybe reveal my abs as i haven't seen them for a long long time now.
Your transformation is amazing, ive been lacking with my training as i have other commitments, but showing that you can do it, just proves to me that i can to!
but with weights... each day i do like 2 to 3 exercises per each of the body parts so i dont overtrain in the long run so im always hitting my body full and even... i do high intensity interval training after weights also for about 20-30 min. also... my diet is on point post of the time... always carrying extra good food around with me just in case something happens and im outside the wire for more than expected haha
days off i do cardio and abs... sooo i get my days off when the army f*cks me over and we have to do stupid ****, and dont get to go to the gym... which makes my meal times off also... but i do everything possible to keep on track with that...
im doing weights every other day... i dont have a specific routine for the week because of my schedule.. but i do a split of chest, back, bi's. day off.. then legs+calves, tris, shoulders
whats up dude thanks for the comment. I'm telling you dude as soon as you step on that scale and it says 199 you'll look back and tell yourself it was all worth it. I saw your progress pics and it looks like your on your way there just keep it up!
you could def achieve that physique, prolly in 12 to 16 weeks for sure. Hit me up with a message i can give you a diet that I have been using that has been working wonders!
Hey thanks, yeah going through a similar stage right now also. Recovering from a torn glute (don't ask) so training has pretty much stopped. So really should sort my diet out, but I haven't even done that. Need to pull my finger out!
Been going to the gym about 2 years, been properly "weight training" about 3 months, but had all of december off hense why ive stacked on the lard and am just about getting back to where I was end of November time!
Hey man - Ive just finished my winter bulk, and switched to my cutting routine yesterday for summer!
My old bulking routine is on my bodyspace page, new cutting routine is pretty mucht he same excersizes but doing 3 sets of 12-14. Doing 1.5 hours steady state cardio on non lifting days - HR around 140bpm seems to burn fat well for me!
Whats your cutting plan like?
Try switching it up change your reps, partial movements, I'm not a big expert on the barbell curl. Weekend went alright. Hope your training is going well!
