I have always been an athlete--gymnastics, track and field, lacrosse, and fitness. I was a collegiate gymnast turned lacrosse player when I tore my achilles. When my collegiate athletic career concluded I started seriously hitting the weights...
Why I Love It:
How I Stay Motivated:
BB Accomplishments:
1st Place at the 2004 Armed Forces National Fitness Championships
In 2004 I competed in the Armed Forces National Fitness Championships and took home the 1st place trophy. I trained hard and was proud of the way my body looked, but since then I have gained about 25 pounds and lost the love I once had for the gym. My immediate, short-term goal is to maintain a regular workout schedule and clean diet. My intermediate goal is to fit into my old clothes by 1 February 2008 and to have the sort of muscle definition that makes it clear to anyone who passes by that I spend my spare time in the gym. Finally, but most importantly, my long term goal is to never lose my love for the gym again!!!
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 25 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
18%
Upcoming Contest:
Undecided--depends on where I get assigned next...

Ramblings: Man am I sore today!!! My entire body aches, but hey, pain is only weakness leaving the body, right? Today's workout was another great one. I lifted back and alternated sets of abs in between. Awesome workout and what is even better is I am really starting to see...

just to let you know i can see a diffrence in your photos. just keep up the good work and i know in 6 months(not so long if you don't count the days) you will have your dream body or be half way there.

Hey thanks for the comment. Deployment fod definately isn't the best choice of diet. Just to throw it in there, I can see a bit of change through your progress pics in the waist area. Keep it up and good luck.
Hey Ma'am. Good luck on your goals and getting back safe. I am also counting down the days here. Over 110 days done and a lot more to go. Be home sometime next year.
Be careful out there and set some realistic physical goals - I had a hard time keeping my fat off cause of stress and the place I lived...so make sure you're not pushing yourself too hard - its more important to stay mission focused.
