Boredom during a deployment. After a while it just sorta stuck with me.
Why I Love It:
THE PUMP!
How I Stay Motivated:
The Wife, my job, the desire to be better than everyone else and "Men's Health" & "Muscle& Fitness."
BB Accomplishments:
By Marine Corps Standards, I went from running a 215 PFT to running a 300 PFT in about 12 weeks. Changed my body composition from 160 lbs at 20% body fat to 160 lbs at 12% body fat in 6 months. I dont know if thats good but Im proud and thats all that matters I guess.
I train to run faster, jump higher, and all around out perform everyone else.
Goal (Long):
Some people work out for the "6-Pack" abs, some work out because they want to be bigger, leaner, ripped, jacked, etc... I work out because I want to be able to Perform. I train to run faster, jump higher, and pretty much out perform everyone else. Of course there is always gonna be someone else out there who runs faster, jumps higher, lifts more but having that mentality motivates me to go that extra rep, or go that extra mile.
My workout is pretty basic and pretty intense. I usually wake up aroun 4 a.m. and Run as far as I can in 30 minutes. I do that everymorning. At first I thought I might overtrain but my body eventually adapted. Then I lift in the evening alternating high and low reps every 2 weeks or so. Im not...
You look GREAT! And, I respect you for defending our freedom...thanks!
