I was deployed to Fallujah Iraq and I decided I was going to go home with a different body. Nothing was wrong with my body, I was just wanting to get bigger and shock everyone when I came home. Now i'm back in Fallujah AGAIN and i'm doing it. About the same size i was when i left here. trying to gain about another 15 lbs.
Why I Love It:
I love lifting because it is something I can do and totally lose myself. No cell phones, no wives, no kids. It's just me, my partner and the gym. Total focus. The most focus I can ever find.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by the feeling it gives me when i'm pushing up DB or pumping out some cable rows. IT'S JUST THE PUMP FLOWING THROUGH MY VEINS.
BB Accomplishments:
last year's Deployment i said i wanted to gain about 10 pounds and i gained almost 20. So i'm sitting at 175 now and I want to gain about another 10 or 15 by the end of July.

12 Week Program for Size and Strength
Contributed by James Kothrade
This the twelve week program that helped me to put on 20 pounds. Of course,
the eating habits takes credit for a lot of that too. :-) This is a program that anyone can use. I tried to base it for strength and size and...
Back to a weight program after prepping for and nailing the PT test. Today was my first deadlift session in several months. I'm guessing tomorrow will be painful :)
Well short answer HARD. I miss the Corps but, then again things are a bit easier on this side of the fence. Although I keep in being told "your not in the Marine Corps anymore calm down"... Ohhhh well
Great Job! I don't think you are going to have ANY problems making your gains with the focus and intensity of your training! Thanks for your Service!!!!
I'm always looking for tips and tricks, especially with my pull ups...
Right now, my training kinda sucks because I have PT every day - not a huge deal, two hours a day, and only an hour is really any kinda work - I get good workouts in on the weekend but during the week, I have to balance MY PT with THEIR PT and all the studying I should be doing, even though I don't...I will say I rarely see another female at the gym here...
Yes we had a little one. 5.3 Everything is good though. Yes, the workouts are the most important. Well that and eating clean. I wish you the best and feel free to contact me any time.
I have sponsored several soldiers. All of them are home now. I am thankful. I dont envy you. I know is hard being away from home and not having alot going on. I could send you some models of fast cars that you could put together. I know it is the same as feeling the speed or taking the turns but it would give you something to do. at least you have time to focus on getting healthy and staying there. Best of luck and feel free to chat anytime. Stef
