Background
In my sophomore year of college, I gained from 130 to 140-lbs. Over the summer, I started out dieting healthy, but after hitting a wall I started losing weight through low-cal/low-fat foods. I dropped from 140 to 112 lbs in 3 months. But gained it back (+10 more) after having a mental break down. My new year's resolution was to lose the weight, become stronger, take control of my life, and regain my confidence--the healthy way, Jan 2010. But, I self-sabotaged after 9 weeks. Now, I'm starting from the ground-up: October 26, 2011
Feeling stronger and better about myself; feeling like I'm one step closer to reaching my goal.

I Looked In The Mirror And Liked What I Saw

While I was at work, I looked in the full-length mirror and realized I looked normal and more balanced. And for the first time, in too long, I genuinely liked what I saw.
Later, at home, after changing clothes, an unusual thing happened: I looked in the bathroom mirror, and I literally saw the girl who I wanted to be--in the mirror looking at me. Literally. After that, I noticed the differences in my body, and that made me smile even more.
I'm still a long way from what I want. &

I got a good comment yesterday: "You look like you're about a size 8, going to a size 7."
I started Jamie Eason's program as a size 12 (in pants). I thought the comment was nice, but doubted it. Until, today. Today, I did the leg exercises. Afterwards, as I was getting ready for work, I found the underwear I wore for my before pictures. They fit! Im in disbelief. After I wash clothes, Im going back through them to make sure these are the ones because the difference between then and now is dras

Day 1
I'm excited about Phase 1 of this program. There's no cardio. You just bulk and eat. That's all you do. Bulk and eat. I can live with that. Even though I won't be exercising as often the first 2 weeks on this program, I'll still have to get up early to get the meals in. I hate getting up early.
