When I Started: Jan, 2006
How I Started: I was an overweight kid in elementary school, I had little friends and those that I though were my friends, actually loved to tease me about my weight and double chin. So I decided that "I'd show them".
Why I Love It: I love being one of the only sixteen year olds with such a large physique.

It's also a good self esteem and confidence booster.

And ever since I started getting bigger, I'd be lying to you if I told you I wasn't attracting many females.
How I Stay Motivated: Haters, bad talk, good music, and a, "Nothing to lose and everything to gain mindset".
BB Accomplishments: Just transforming my body so far. Probably my chest and back though.
Forum Signature: Sometimes you gotta swim without a lifeguard.

Progress Pictures
Oct 29, 2007 Jun 17, 2008
Lil Baby Back Back Attack!
This is my beginning stage, after about 8-12 months of pure yet intense bodyweight workouts. Not bad, not bad.  This is almost six months after the last picture, this is a progress picture showing my improvements from moving to bodyweight training to actual weight lifting. I'm loving every drop of sweat.

Goals:
Main Goal: Gain Muscle
Goal (Short): Size, size, size. All with alot of consistency, consistency, consistency. Gotta keep fit, never going back to my old self, my past is passed, it's time to kick some ass! It's NEVER nap time BABY!
Goal (Long): * Get Bigger everything, but I really want to focus on my back and legs. * I am very happy with my current bodyfat percentage, and I plan on continuing to gain mass while keeping it in the below 10% range. * I also look forward to making heavier and heavier lifts as I progress... * I will continue to workout until the day they gotta lay me down, and I plan on sticking to my healthy, yet proportioned meals that are both healthy and packed with nutrients and protein. * More to come... ** New Goal: So I have decided that in due time, when I feel my body is just right, I am going to look for some employment in Male Modeling and Commercial Appearances, and if I can really, really push my luck, maybe even some spots in acting?? ;)
Weight Goal: I want to GAIN 30 lb
Bodyfat Goal: 6%

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
When I really have to rest, I aim for 15-30 seconds. But I aim to not rest between sets until each set is finished. I find that the pump gets MUCH more intense, but you must be careful doing this as i...more

So, I've finally managed to get into my high-school's weight room.. and I have not a clue on what I am doing. Although it is nice already being one of the biggest kids there... hehe... My first few days there, I've just constantly been running toward the dumb-bells then throw up a couple of...

Thanks for the add. Like your determination and attitude. Your lifts are coming along nicely. Soon you'll be pressing bodyweight overhead. Not many bodybuilders can clean and press bodyweight, even the strong ones. Get your rows up to your bench standard, better for shoulder health. And get your squats and deads ahead of your bench. Rippetoe's will do that for you.
