When I Started:
Nov, 2006
How I Started:
I needed to get into the gym because of sports. I played baseball on the collegiate level for 4 years. I did lift, just never took it seriously until my senior year. I dont' know what it was that bridged that gap and made the connection, but it happened and now I can't get enough and I want to go harder than ever now that I don't play anymore.
Why I Love It:
I love the discipline. I was never a disciplined person, especially with my diet. This keeps me in check and it helps me make better decisions.
How I Stay Motivated:
I like to surround myself with people who have the same goals and don't bring me down. I like to think I'm mentally stronger than the next person, and I know a lot of people don't put the work in that I do, that helps me stay motivated.

hello,
i read you supplement reviews on universal's whey protein and real gains. what didnt you like about the protein? you said it was too sweet and i have a major sweet tooth/chocolate craving, do you think this product will be ok for me? im thinking about taking the real gains but im not sure how it tastes. its between real gains and champion nutrition's heavweight gainer, what do u think?
thanks! i'm not where i want to be...but i'm on my way! its awesome that your going after your dream...i hope you do well! btw...love the new pic, very intense :)
For sure man that's all I've been looking at! I have 25 schools I have been contacting and we will see where that gets me. I searched by who needs outfielders and made a top 25 from who needs them the most. They are mostly west coast, a few in Texas and one in North Carolina. Where did you play D1 at?
I gotcha, my best friend is in the Orioles farm system and I have a few other friends on different teams. I have a list of 25 schools I'm sending things to and we will see what I get back. Most of them are in California or the west coast area but a couple in Texas too.
For sure dude. My old school didn't release me so I am taking a year off and transferring whenever I find a place to play. How did you get hooked up with the tryout? I have been looking for something similar.
haha- yes, watching sportscenter is my favorite thing to do. i love my sports ...especially baseball!! who did you play ball for in college? i have bunch of friends who play in NY during summer-- in a serious league. You better be working hard for those tryouts....ITS GO TIME!
