A year ago this month I was near 270 Lbs with High BP, High Cholesterol, and Possible Diabetic. So I paid a visit to the Poulsbo, WA Maxx Nutrition Now 1 year later exactly my Dr. gives me a clean bill of health, and I'm off all medications. And remember Team Poynter WWW.fitnesspoynters.com
Why I Love It:
The way my wife looks at me now, I wouldn't trade that for the world. The end result, although there really isn't an end, there's always a new goal to achieve. And remember Team Poynter WWW.fitnesspoynters.com
How I Stay Motivated:
I just look at the way my wife looks at me now and I know. She's the best. 23 Years together and still going strong. And remember Team Poynter WWW.fitnesspoynters.com
BB Accomplishments:
The loss of over 90 Lbs of fat and the gain of 20+ Lbs of muscle this year. Down from 42 In. waist to a 32 In. And remember Team Poynter WWW.fitnesspoynters.com

Dec 22, 2009
RichardMac changed Body Fat from 9.2% to 10%, a gain of 0.8 percentage point in 19 days
350Lbs Bench Press tonight 15 lbs closer to goal of 400 lbs by June
Goal (Long):
I want to gain 4 inches around my upper body shoulder area and lose 1 inch in the waist giving me the "V" effect. Also I would love to just be happy and healthy. Go Team Poynter.
So 8 months ago I started lifting weights again, and when I started I couldn't even bench 140 Lbs. I set a goal to bench over 300 by new years, and tonight i did 2 sets of 5 reps @ 305 Lbs. Moral of this story (if you dream it you can achieve it)
Thanks! I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you, and I want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a muscle building New Year! :)
I'm just going to keep eating eating and lifting to grow in 2010. :)

LEVEL UP!! GOOD! GRAB A BANANA WITH YOUR AFTERWORKOUT PROTEIN SHAKE, THAT SHOULD HANDLE ANY OF YOUR BODY'S DEPLETIONS. ALSO, BE CERTAIN YOU ARE GETTING A BALANCED MEAL WITHIN 2 HOURS OF WORKOUT(DOESN'T INCLUDE YOUR AFTER W/O SHAKE AND STUFF, WHICH YOU NEED WITHIN 30 MINUTES). BLESSINGS, DAVE.
After a marathon or doing the portland to coast relay, I have the desire to eat everything .. and anything .. in sight for the next couple of days. As the previous person said, you used up all your sugars. One thing you might want to consider is an endurance type drink that has some protein and carbs for an 'instant' recovery. I use that to help keep me going during long walks. I didn't do that today (my bad) and was a bit woozy getting off the treadmill after 2 hours.
sounds like your blood sugar dropped quickly - were you also light headed and confussed? - these are traditional feelings I get when my blood sugar drops as a diabetic. stay away from sugar and eat a "good" carb course, sit down and wait 15 min - things get back to normal
Richard - r u sure it's just the weather? I wasn't excitted about the gym today but as soon as I got there and started my music and exercising - I felt great - 2.5 hrs continous. Spinning (cardio) kicked my as_ I was actually speaking GO,GO,GO outloud as a chant to push myself on the last high speed interval - good thing it was 10pm and the place wasnt packed. I felt like rubber when I got off that thing. Did ya do the 7 point body fat?
THOSE PANTS HAVE GOTTA BE A TRUE REVELATION...2 OF YOU FIT IN THERE NOW! ABS ARE REALLY LOOKIN' AWESOME BTW! SORRY ABOUT THE 20 DEGREES. PRETTY COLD HERE TOO....JUST GOTTA SUCK IT UP, LOL! BLESSINGS, DAVE.
