When I Started:
How I Started:
Been doing it on and off for a few years now. I think I first lifted a weight in the school gym. I remember my mother said I could never be muscular, so that set me on a path to prove her wrong. I just have trouble sticking to it.
Why I Love It:
I love keeping fit. Enjoy surfing, basketball, Muay Thai, boxing, yoga, and gym. Obviously I'm not really focused on bodybuilding as such (too much hard work) but I love to train and keep fit. Just started Greco-Roman Wrestling and loving it, just don't know how I'm going to fit it all in. I believe variety is the spice of life. All my friends are at the gym and I ofen can't wait to put down the books or get out of work so I can socialise and work hard at the gym.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing the progress that other people make definately motivates me. I try not to take it too seriously, but I do get a little wrapped up in it sometimes.
"The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights." Muhammed Ali.
Why I like this video: I remember watching UFC 1&2 as a 17 year old and being amazed by their athleticism and physique. It was not until 6 years later that I started learning some of what I saw in these videos.

Geez for a guy who doesn't have a strict diet you are doing pretty darn good. Diet makes a huge difference and writting it down helps and keeps you accountable. Thanks for the comments.
gottah look good for the summer haha. good luck with you goal too thai kickboxing is bad ass bro. i am going to get in to some MMA but not to be competitive. don't want to get all banged up.
you are looking wicked solid man. nice progress pics--excellent defintion. i'm going to have to google thai boxing to see what it's like. you'll kick ass in the competition i'm sure.
I understand bro. If your girl doesn't like you getting too big. But for me it's always been about SIZE! Was skinny and picked on as a kid. Still drives me to get bigger. So if I was 25, 6'4' with your genetics, I'd get as massive as I could...285 and 22 inch guns! I'm obsessed with muscle..haha. Still trying to pack on more muscle. You look awesome at your present weight bro. Thanks for the comments big man.
Hey dont flatter urself so much Mr. Rhyno. U look a little small especially in the legs.Itll be easy for me to wear u out fast unless I get a quick KO.Ull b going up against the strongest and fastest opponent ever faced before. Sounds like u were waiting for a challenge...lol!
yeah i noticed heaps of people's first foto's there faces blacked out or just not in view and once there bigger the face comes in and poses come out... so what sorta training you do for the wrestling yove started
its a killer, thats why i only diet like that for peak periods, i dont walk around as ripped in my profile shots 24/7! Use it to hit your peak, then eat sensibly after that i say :)
A typical high protein, low carb diet will work, but you have to be smart in respect to potential rebound weight gain. Plus, if your anything like me you'll feel irritable, moody and lethargic. Try it for peak periods then slowly ease back into a diet with more carbs and less protein
