Background
My new wife got me motivated to get back into it. I was always athletic, playing the big 3 sports in highschool, and baseball through college. Working a high hour/high stress job led me to getting out of shape. History of heart problems in the family really came into focus and led me down a path of health.
Lifting weights gives me that "runners high" we so often hear about. It's personal, you compete against yourself, it's easily trackable, and the noticeable changes are great.
