When I Started:
Feb, 2002
How I Started:
I initially got started when I took wrestling and football seriously. I just went in the gym to increase strength because I was sick and tired of going against stronger opponents
Why I Love It:
It relieves a ton of stress and the Iron is a true best friend. At the end of the day a 45 lb plate is still just a 45 lb plate!
How I Stay Motivated:
Watching my body transform and getting new personal highs in the gym. Every now and again I test the limit and see how heavy I can go!
BB Accomplishments:
Not really bodybuilding, but winning the Controlled Labs Black Hole Chicken Nugget eating contest!

"Marines I see as two breeds, Rottweilers or Dobermans, because Marines come in two varieties, big and mean, or skinny and mean. They're aggressive on the attack and tenacious on defense. They've got really short hair and they always go for the throat."

I hope to gain at least one and a half inches of mass on each body part except my stomach in which i hope to lose at least 2 inches. I also hope to decrease my three mile run time and get somewhere in the low seventeens!
I would start out with either straight barbell or EZ barbell curls. I would do a light set of 15 to 20. Then I would move into three to four sets of heavy curls usually in the six to eight rep range. I would then move onto Incline Dumbell curls. No warm up needed. Again I do three to four sets of six to eight. I do an isolation curl next. Whether it be preacher curl, Standing alternating, One hand dumbell, or what have you. Same set/rep scheme. This works for me, I do real heavy for four to six weeks then I move up to lighter for higher reps for two weeks and back to the heavy again. Its real productive for me. Hey! Congrats on the baby! I was in town and we went to the gym and Rob told us because we asked where you were. I am starting to log 2 Shredded today, so add me to your list or whatever you have to do! When I go to add my daily views on how I felt and everything, what do I click to write it in? Would I just reply to my own thread or what? Thanks Artie!
My bi's didn't get sore this week with my high rep routine. Now what? I'm thinking I'll try super setting something to get even more blood flow, or I could go back to heavier wieght.
