Not sure...was always fascinated by strength even as a boy...just seemed to slip into it, then once bitten by the bug it has never gone away.
Why I Love It:
The opportunity it provides to pursue the continued desire to improve and achieve, despite the many frustrations. The opportunity to challenge, test and improve yourself, by bettering your goals and feeling stronger.
How I Stay Motivated:
...by always having a goal to strive for to be stronger and better... and by always having something to prove..to myself.
BB Accomplishments:
Keeping going in the face of frustrations, injuries, the ups and downs of relationships, a busy career and latterly the arrival of my first child! It's been the one constant in my life! Sad but true!!!

Transform My Body
Goal (Overall):
To improve my deadlift to 3 x 400lbs. To build my grip & core strength, and reduce my bodfat (waist down by 3 inches). To build greater stamina.
Goal (Long):
To focus upon the development of functional strength and improving strength to bodyweight ration. To hit a 2X bodyweight (medium term) and then 2.5X bodyweight deadlift (long term). To train in a more diverse fashion, incorporating cross-fit type methodology. 1:To focus on th deadlift and press. To deadlift 400lbs x 3. 2:To increase size and strength in forearms/grip - focusing in sledgehammer, wrist-roller, and wrist curl work. 3: To reduce waist/hip measurement and body fat (reduce waist by 3 inches). 4. To develop core muscles with heavy training. 5. To improve stamina with heavy bag work and circuits incorporated into sessions. 6. To master handstand/handstand presses.
