How I Started:
Initially I went to the gym solely for running training. From, there I moved onto rowing and became quite dedicated towards that, however, my main reason for rowing was to get a better physic.
From my enthusiasm for martial arts, I learned of a website called bodybuilding.com, i don't know if you've heard of it, but it taught me everything I needed to know.
Initially, I just wanted to get stronger to beat a mate of mine in arm wrestling. I'm a little bit more mature now but I've carried on with the strength training.
Why I Love It:
I just love the feeling that I get afterwards!
Also I know enough about nutrition and human biology to take a degree in. I can give sound advice to friends also.
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm driving for the body that I want and i'm not stopping until i get there.
I dunno, I guess I actually enjoy working out. It's not a chore + I can see the results and i'm pleased with them.

yeh same with me, i stopped all cardio so that i could save as many calories as possible. looks like what you're doing is working. what sort of routine are you doing? i'm doing a 4 day split and eating 6/7/8 meals a day. well i eat as much as i can before i am sick and have had enough with life

Can definately say runner's body is gone. Solid gains on arms ( forearms a little weak though), thickening chest, good abs, solid back and YES solid V shape on the way.Also getting good definition on quads. Should be very happy with results to date. Andre

Can see what rwoing and lifting has done for you. Tightly muscled body with solid definition Strong shoulders and back. Add a few extra lbs of ripped muscle and extra work on lats and that physique will just improve very much. Continued success with your goals. Andre
Yeh the gym is quite good. I've only been there for around 3 months. Its £130 odd quid for me at 16yo. Id recommended it but it can get quite busy on some days.
