How I Started:
Went down the gym with my friends to see how much I could bench. Tried the Smyth machine and fell in love with the feeling. Haven't looked back since although have had a few dips in progress.
Why I Love It:
Thats easy, for the "pump". Its great to have an image of how you want to look in your head and see your body changing toward it.
How I Stay Motivated:
Its hard sometimes. But hanging like minded people helps and coming on this website is also very helpful.

Started weights Jan 06, haven't trained properly for 4/5 months coz of new job and shoulder injury but have found my motivation again so took this pic as a starting point. Hoping to see gains in shoulders (especially traps) and arms. Aiming for MH look. Any tips/advice would be most welcome.
Been a while since I posted anything. Think my bf has gone up but although the pic doesn't show it, I can feel that I've gained in the lower back area. Ain't nothin to it but to do it!
OK, where do I start? I just want to have the mens health look, nothing against Ronnie or Jay but i don't think that look would suit me. Aiming to have the complete package so I can go to the beach and break out in the summer. I'm calling it Break Out '08!
I guess it all started when I came across Bruce Lee's films and reading about his dedication to his training and making his body into the best it could be.
Main areas I need to focus on are Abs and shoulders. Arms need to get quite a bit bigger too. Weakest area is prob my traps and abs. Not thinking about cutting fat just yet, just want to put some mass on first.
Well i hope you had a nice holiday and enjoyed the sights!Yeah im sure your training will come on leaps and bounds. My training is good at the moment tx for asking.
nice back dude Hey if you're looking for good deals on protein, energy drinks, vitamins and such check these out, and good luck with the training!!! http://trussell7.qhealthzone.c om
I just noticed you have lower back dimples! I am a sucker for those. LOL Sorry...tangent.
Business Administration. I am going to see what it would take for me to double major in that and education. I want to be a professor and teach business at a state university. That's my long term goal.
yea its really just changing up the diet...w me i had to lose bf in order to see how much muscle mass i actually had since i have never done anything like this before. now that i know i hardly have any muscle mass, i have to build some up lol
Yeah for Memorial Day. I know I am not sure if I should go today instead of just wait until Wednesday to stay on my schedule. The only thing wrong with that is the fact that I might not be able to workout on Friday as planned because I am going out of town!
i told my trainer i think she needs to switch things up...i have been on this crazy diet (its postd in my last forum post) for the last 9 wks and i really haveny noticed that much of a difference. i just hope that she adjusts something and it cranks me into fat burning mode
Hello, training is good injury free so far and been doing 5 x 5 training around my cousins.Good work on your deads bro keep at it and gain some nice core and general strength.Nice to hear from you too!
I just did legs last night. I didnt' have time to set my arms up. I think I will do split on arms and then lower body once a week. I hope it's effective.
