I have always been active and was never big into sitting around doing nothing. Most of my relatives are athletes or active people so it just came naturally.
Why I Love It:
Keeps me sane, love seeing my body transform before my eyes. The high after a hard workout is amazing and better than any drug out there. I know that anything can happen out there in this crazy world, but I love knowing that I at least do everything in my power to help preserve myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
I live in America and am surrounded by unhealthy people. My goal is to get 210lbs and then cut to 185lbs, or around there.
BB Accomplishments:
Not really a BB accomplishment, but I quit smoking 2 years ago and that has helped tremendously with everything from strength to endurance. I was in pretty crappy shape for a while there and I was doing a lot of partying, drinking, smoking, etc..I am completely sober and smoke free and plan to stay this way for life.
yeah, 2 specialists (seeing a 3rd next week). i don't really experience pain other than when my shoulder fully dislocates (which right now is about twice a month...though it came out 3x last week alone lol). i'm up to 24 dislocations now since 2003. lol and yeah, surgery freaks me out, too (VERY much so), but i really can't avoid it anymore (my shoulder's popping out regularly in my sleep now)! have you been to the doctor for yours?
hey! not bad, been kinda flat-lining on progress for awhile now (got a really bad shoulder that i'll prolly be having surgery for soon, so training has been kinda limited lately, which is depressing lol). how goes it on your end of da bb'ing rainbow?
I'm really glad i'm not the only one slacking. I'm still getting started. I hate it so much, I work WAY too much and by the end of the day I find it really hard actually eating well. I can go to the gym no prob, diet kills me though.
Hey there, looking great! A few things could be better in my world, I've been sick for almost 2 weeks but I'm getting better slowly. Glad you're doing well. Don't know if I'm just visiting, depends how busy I am the next few weeks. :)
It's an oddly satisfying feeling. The reason for the hiatus was a mixture of health problems and laziness. I'm a HUGE night owl!! If I had my way I'd stay up all night and sleep during the day all week...thank god for weekends! :D
Bah! It's a 10 now! I've been doing yoga for the past week and belly dance class(yesterday)and from that my abs and back are pretty sore, not to mention my quads. Ah well thats what happens when you suddenly start working out again out of the blue.
