Hulk Hogan had always been my idol since I was 4. I've always wanted a muscular body but never built the interest until 8th grade. I had intentions for going into high school football. But decided it wasn't for me and that I did not like the people involved at high school. I found bodybuilding to be more 'me'. I could move at my own pace and not have someone nagging me.
Why I Love It:
Im finishing up at the UofA on my major in Biochemistry. My stress levels are high. My life is nothing but work and studying now but the 1.5 hours out of the day I get at the gym are my escape from reality. No stress, homework, or exams. Just me and the weights and my mind focused on adding more plates to the bar or seeing noticeable changes in my body when I practice my poses.
How I Stay Motivated:
Bodybuilding is what gives me drive in life, every time I workout I look forward to seeing if ive made progress or not.
The day I stop lifting is the day I die.
BB Accomplishments:
gaining bout 40lbs of muscle over the 5 years i've been training is really all i've got. I still have no plans to compete anytime soon.

For the things she has accomplished at her age such as 38 world records, you can bet that I'm inspired by her. Most of the women that are near my age bracket in my area are afraid to even touch heavy weights.
All natural and like myself, started bodybuilding due to bullies. Not only that but Layne goes further by inspiring me in my academic efforts. I'm going for a degree in biohemistry myself, and it's by far not an easy degree. If Layne was able to get the same degree and keep up with bodybuilding, then so can I.
Well this week I intend to try a new training split. I've been watching the inside the life of a natural pro videos and got alot of new info from them. One that I liked was how layne norton setup his routine. first 2 days of the week were powerlifting centered with an upper body day and lower...
Hey man thanks for the encouragement on my page! Hulk Hogan was the bomb, I must agree. Looks like you've done a great job packing on 10lbs. of lean mass. Keep it going!
"I get frustrated when I don't see improvements, but I'm only 19 and my body is still technically developing." You are totally correct stick with it and you will acheive the body you aim for. your 5 year plan is very much achievable. consistency is key. Good luck!
