How I Started:
I first started proper workouts when I did the Body for Life challenge in 2005. It was hard but I really enjoyed doing it. It gave me a taste of what bodybuilding might be like. I then maintained my workouts and weight until I finished my degree in 2007. When I started my first job and got settled in, I decided it was time to really focus on my fitness. I started working out in January with specific goals to build muscle mass and trim body fat. My goal is to enter a figure competition towards the end of 2008.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling I get when I am pumping iron...I love the challenge. I also enjoy feeling my muscles strong and healthy and it gives me so much more energy in a job which requires lots of physical effort. And I also think that I look much better with muscle tone than with body fat! LOL
How I Stay Motivated:
By knowing that there are others out there who have achieve what I want to achieve. I also get motivation from talking to my friends and partner who understand about bodybuilding.

- SUmmer 2004: Losing 10kg of useless body fat - Summer 2008: Dieting down for my first Body Fitness contest - September 2008: qualifying for the UKBFF Body Fitness Finals

My butt hurts right now, did massive sets of deep squats yesterday. Quads also sore from leg presses & lunges. I work my calves but they haven't been sore lately, guess I need to step it up.
