When I Started:
Jan, 2009
How I Started:
I have always been unhappy with how I look and with my lack of strength. I started doing Curves to try to get better, and that helped a little, however it did not get me near where I wanted. As I did more research I become more and more interested.
Why I Love It:
The feeling it gives me is amazing. When I reach the goals I set for myself - its better then anything I've experienced - and I have experienced a lot.
How I Stay Motivated:
Small little things - taking before photos before I start something specific to see differences. When cooking saving the fat, then as it builds up I see how much could have been in my body - but because I take that little extra time out to cook better it's not. Music helps a lot as well as thinking about how far I've come and how much farther I need to go.
BB Accomplishments:
This is going to sound pathetic - but I opened a jar of peanut butter all by myself the other day, and I actually was able to slightly hold my own against my boyfriend in an arm contest - he won - but I held there for a minute! :)
Do you track your workouts (exercises, weight, reps, etc.)?
Yes
If so, how do you do it? Workout log, software program, etc.? Why do you do it this way?
I use Microsoft One Note - I created a table to log it all. I make a note in my cell phone as I work out and go from there.

Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
Yes
Why or why not?
I tell some of them my goals - but I keep some to myself. My boyfriend who also works out knows my dream goals and my realistic goals so he knows what I'm looking for. My family just knows I'm trying to better myself.I tell some of them my goals - but I keep some to myself.
