Overall Goal:  Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize." I Corinthians 9:26-27

When I Started:

How I Started:
Played NCAA D-I soccer. Strength coach required weight lifting: oly-lifting, plyometrics, and basic powerlifting. Tore ACL got fat(seriously) then got fixed and got ripped again.
Why I Love It:
I love crossfit. Crossfit gave me my life and physique back. Big shoutout to Coach Glassman.
How I Stay Motivated:
My life depends on it, and so do the lives of my brother soldiers. I'm depressed when I don't workout.
BB Accomplishments:
2nd Place in post Powerlifting Competition(Iraq) FEB '08 I used to be fat. Going from 197 pounds to a much leaner 147 pounds(JUN08). It was hard work and it hurt a lot, but a great life choice. Took over a year, but I'm up 11 pounds of lean mass (NOV09). A 2:45 Fran and a 6:58 Helen. Last CFT was 975. 175sp/365sq/425DL
