Played NCAA D-I soccer. Strength coach required weight lifting: oly-lifting, plyometrics, and basic powerlifting. Tore ACL got fat(seriously) then got fixed and got ripped again.
Why I Love It:
I love crossfit. Crossfit gave me my life and physique back. Big shoutout to Coach Glassman.
How I Stay Motivated:
My life depends on it, and so do the lives of my brother soldiers. I'm depressed when I don't workout.
BB Accomplishments:
2nd Place in post Powerlifting Competition(Iraq) FEB '08
I used to be fat.
Going from 197 pounds to a much leaner 147 pounds. It was hard work and it hurt a lot, but a great life choice.
A 2:45 Fran and a 7:15 Helen.
Last CFT was 965. 175sp/365sq/425DL

I was 190 pounds. I don't think I have any with my shirt off because I was embarrassed I wasn't extremely obese, but I definitely had a layer of chubb all over. This was shortly after my knee surgery. I weighed 197 pounds at my heaviest.

Goal (Long):
I'm a certified Crossfit trainer and I want to establish a small business training a few clients. I will also want to maintain the free personal training I give to my most motivated Soldiers. Maintain what I have for performance right now. If I can make gains without losing or gaining muscle then so be it.
What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
I'm happy with what I've got. I don't idolize any of their bodies.

Unfortunately I didn't make it. Back on the 22nd of March I was supposed to be doing a pose down. I worked extremely hard for it and I probably would have won. Well that's what the others said. I had to go on for emergency leave because my grandmother that helped raise me for a few...

Well I would say you have to be a great motivator to her just by example -- If she hit a plateau, have her write down everything she eats and when. You can help her make adjustments or make portions a little smaller. I switched from kashi cereal in the AM to oatmeal and dropped rice after lunch & that pushed me thru my plateau. I still don't do any cardio :)
Welcome home brother. Yeah, things have been pretty busy, which is a good thing. I don't know how I am keeping up the pace I'm at. Some days I am doing 2 or 3 full WOs. Since I am programming all my own stuff I make sure I do the WO before I have anyone else do it. Between that and experimenting with things and demonstrating and coaching, I am training all day long, what a life!! All I do is eat , sleep and train.LOL Thats the dream isn't it?
Its so true about the army, lol. its kinda sad too. But its too easy to get it all back. I'm glad you made it back by the way. My brother is over there somewhere and i can just hope for the best everyday.
Whats up Brother?. I got to got to California last week. I had a chance to go to Venice Beach. It was awesome. That calisthenic area is what impressed me the most. Today was calistenic day as every Wednesday. I had 1/2 yam, 2 bites of chicken breast and a pack of nabs 1/2 hr b4 my workout. Dude you would believe how much power I had. After doing 6x30 sets 10-15 with of total Calistenics, I had energy to do 75 leg raised pushups. My reverse dips was with 80 lbs on my lap and still did 25. Its got to be the yam. All done in 30 minutes. I could have done more. Anyway that was my day. Sorry to bore you with all this. Be safe.
