How I Started:
I've always been athletic, but I never really learned to appreciate physical fitness until I joined the military. The rigorous training routines and constantly pushing/challenging myself on a daily basis is what got me hooked.. shortly before getting out I was wounded, and now that I'm fully recovered, I'm making up for lost time.
Why I Love It:
The discipline, and seeing how hard I can push myself. Dunno why, but I love the burn that follows the day after each workout. Its great to be to the point where you think you can't possibly perform 1 more rep, and then to be able to crank out 1 more.
How I Stay Motivated:
I remind myself how my health will ensure a longer future with my wife and children. In my line of work, it's necessary to be physically fit, since my body is my "first line of defense".
BB Accomplishments:
I gained 30 lbs in 6 months, and doubled my bench press amount.
