I have been in the gym my entire life, and 150 for me, was thin...but compared to my 110 pound friends I still looked FAT. I spent far too many years in my 20's starving or using some form of herbal stimulant to keep food out of my mouth. For 2 years straight I ate no more than once a day.. Obviously, that is not something one can maintain. At 25 I had my son, C-section and nothing ever looked the same again!! I have tried ATKINS gained 14 pounds, Weight Watchers, twice and lost no more than 4 pounds each time, Sugar busters lost 10 and gained it back plus 40 pounds. low fat/low carb, counting calories. Nothing gives. I have swam, rode bike, lifted weight, spend an hour on the eliptical...and I weigh 231 pounds. Maybe I should try out for biggest loser, probably would not make the cut, too thin! ;) In September I begin a 4 year journey to become an acupuncturist, my weight is one thing I DON'T want to have to have angst over anymore. My b/p is 100/60, my blood work is great...But I AM SICK of lugging myself around.
