I've been active all my life, mostly as a gymnast of 12 years. I got comfortable with lifting weights at my coed gym by starting with training from my fiance.
Why I Love It:
I just enjoy being strong and fit, it gives me a sense of accomplishment and is always something that can be improved. I love the constant challenge.
How I Stay Motivated:
By reading inspiring magazines like Women's Health, Oxygen, Muscle and Fitness Hers, and Fitness RX. It sounds strange, but I am also motivated by the obesity epidemic in our country... I don't want to fall into the "norm" our society has created.
BB Accomplishments:
Right now my biggest accomplishment is just finding time for the gym on top of my other commitments. I'm trying to build muscle (a lot more...) before I begin my competition diet in August.

Since high school and well into college, I wanted to be a fitness magazine cover model. With a background in gymnastics and the military, I have even considered working toward fitness competitions. I'm not worried about my weight, but by November 2009, I want to be the most toned and curvy I have ever been.
I ‘ve always thought, “I love greasy foods to much to give it up”. But I had to consider, is that really true? Or is that just an excuse I am making because I don’t have discipline? And I decided I need to really choose. There is no such thing as being at optimal health and incredibly...
Thanks, I appreciate that you accepted my friend invite. Much success to you in accomplishing all your life and fitness goals. Have a good weekend.
