How I Started:
I got started when I first began to train. I met a trainer who was into bodybuilding and he really motivated me with his physique. In 2007, recovering from a very stressful sexual harassment case, I decided to get back to what I love - bodybuilding. Attended the Ronnie Coleman Classic in 07 and the rest is history.
Why I Love It:
I love bb b/c I am seeing the fruits of my labor. My body is transforming both physically, but spiritually. This is my temple and I want to give it the best. I am bringing out "The Lady" with each competition. Thanks Lee for that one - you pinned me right - "The Lady"
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by knowing someone else is training harder than me. With contest prep my goal is to look better than the last show. So, when I have a moment of weakness, I let it ride and have the feelings. Acting on the feelings is the difference with coming in contest ready to win versus showing up.
BB Accomplishments:
Placed 2nd at the Heart of Texas.

Made significant changes to bring up quads and shoulders. This year want to add density to my middle traps and more size to my shoulders. Plan on winning my height class in figure to plan my attack for national level competitions.

Poor form and poor core strength. You are only as strong as your weakest link.

Hit 135 lbs for 1 today.  So excited.  That means getting 5 solid ones is around the corner. 

 Shoulders

Clean n jerks - 45 lbs 10, 95 lbs 6, 115 lbs 4, 135 lbs 1, 95 lbs 7

DB presses - 35 lbs 15, 40 lbs 12, 45 lbs 8

Side lateral machine - 50 lbs 10 w/4 sec count, 40 lbs 10 w/4...
