My basic supps I usually alwways take:

An assortment of pre-workouts such as;
-General Multi Vitamin
-FLEX Joint Supplement by Universal
When I'm cutting I like to take R!PPED FREAK by Universal. Absolutely love the results from it, usually lose about 5lbs of fat/water in about 7 days and then progresses from there.
When I'm gaining I mostly just up my caloric intake rather than use supps. That being said I do like to take the Micronized Creatine by Optimum for that faster recovery time and increased power.

My Motivation Program
My motivation in the gym comes from a couple of things. I would have to say my pre-workout supplement is a BIG motivation. I Used to never use it - I didn't even know what a pre-workout was until like 2 years ago. After the first tub I bought and finished I was sold. It pumps me up and gives me that "tunnel vision" feel. Another one of my very important motivation sources in the gym is my music. If I'm working out I'm listening to my IPod ALL the time. It keeps my mind in the zone and keeps it off anything else I shouldn't be thinking of.
Recently what has been pumping me up pre-workout is listening to motivational speeches from coaches/trainers online and watching intense workout vids on the muscles i will be workout out that day.
