Had my weigh-in today. Down 3lbs and down 0.3% bodyfat....I'm heading in the right direction, but a little too slowly. I wasn't tracking my meals as closely as I could have done, so today is all about tracking what I eat and getting ready to stay on target for the next two weeks. With some effort, I'd like to see myself in the realm of 25% bf by my next weigh-in in two weeks. Wow, 7 weeks done already, and only 5 weeks left. Time to amp things up again and see if I can have some awesome progress before the contest is over (and spring begins....will I have abs for the summer??) Today is cardio and not much else. I'm off work today, so I'll try to do some housecleaning and school work. Also, it's time to get more serious about the diet...I haven't been tracking the last couple of weeks, because I eat mostly the same things every day, but I feel like I may be drifting... Leg day today, with my new trainer. I'm looking forward to it, because he's a little bit more knowledgeable about bodybuilding than my last trainer (who was more focused on powerlifting), and he also came from a similar place in that he was overweight once like myself. I'll miss my old trainer (If you're in New Zealand, look for Trainer Nick, lol!), but change isn't always a bad thing, and after 5 months of working with one guy, I'm sure I'll benefit from a different perspective. STILL in this everyone, just getting used to work and haven't had any time to blog or post. Despite a rocky beginning to February, I'm still making progress, and am back on track. I've been looser with my diet than maybe I'd like, but my motivation is high and the numbers are heading in the right direction. I'm still here and still trucking along, but in the game of managing a job, fitness, and school goals, blogging is the first thing to go. The second I have some free time I will try to post a longer update. For now, though, my bodyfat% is down about 1.5%, which is awesome. Soon I will no longer be officially "obese". Okay, off to work now.....
