ttsraider And jfr when I mean high intensity I dont mean not to rest. For example large muscles i still rest est 2 mins per set. But then on arms/abs I may rest no more than 30 secs max if any in between a superset. Im alternating so that particular muscle receives rest anyway. My rest up to 30 secs depends on day and how long I have been back to working out. Listen to your body. Nov 18, 2011 12:29pm
ttsraider
ttsraider Keep everything high intensity and never do less than 7 or 8 reps even on heavier weight. Any arms exercises I do as a superset with abs. Part of it is just natural build, other part is just staying very intense in workouts. Suggest stairmaster at end of lifting days, 3 times per week, 30 mins to 1 hour. You'll cut without dropping muscle mass. Nov 18, 2011 12:22pm
Ellimist
Ellimist As of right now, yes, I believe it would be a little too difficult for you. But work on the little things like pullups, pushups, and box jumps. This is really a test of endurance more than strength. Apr 14, 2008 7:57pm
Ellimist
Ellimist Yea man, you definately have to try it. Its so intense I nearly passed out when I did it with my friend. You really have to work your way up to it over a period of time. If you want any help, by all means let me know! (Thanks for the friend request also!) Apr 14, 2008 7:28pm
